not to nitpick an otherwise very clear post (AND SPOILERS) but i assumed the “saving” part at the end of Coded was only in reference to Aqua, Terra, and Ven — the Nobodies’ fates were sad, sure, but they’re not suffering and there’s nothing to “save” them from. tbh i doubt they really have a separate consciousness at this point.
…though being stuck in Sora’s head for the rest of your existence does seem like it would be a world of suffering if you didn’t like frolicking on unicornback through jellybean fields while flowers sing zipp-a-dee-doo-dah on a constant loop. so okay maybe ROXAS needs some saving.
