This is really, really, really funny, but ITT people who are wrong because they think MOTHER 3 is deeper than EarthBound because it’s got a really intrusive story.
i’m just going to defend myself here and say that i absolutely don’t think Mother 3 is deeper or better than Earthbound. i like Earthbound considerably more and find it more moving and cohesive, and i’m not bashing Mother 3 there, either. the hippie-violence joke at the end was in reference to the striking difference between Earthbound and Mother 3’s emotional atmospheres and themes.
and now, after i’ve had to explain the joke and kill all the humor in it, i have to ask whether anyone noticed that i put the tiny woman in Hinawa’s dress.
